Early Times Report
Jammu , Nov 4
Migrants in Talwara and other areas of Jammu-Udhampur-Reasi feel neglected and discriminated by the Government of India on the advice of Jammu and Kashmir Government. Government of India provided relief package to Kashmiri Migrants, ignoring Jammu Migrants. Home Minister came especially from Delhi with a package to meet Kashmiri Migrants. It is a tragedy and shame that Jammu Migrants have not been allowed to meet the Home Minister. Jammu Migrants have not been provided relief according to the judgment of the Supreme Court at par with the Kashmiri Migrants.
Talwara Migrants Committee strongly condemns the Home Minister for his biased approach towards Jammu Migrants. JKNPP and Talwara Migrants Action Committee shall organize a protest dharna in front of Raj Bhawan on 5th November 2009 at 11:00 a.m. This was announce by Anita Thakur State General Secretary JKNPP and Chairman of the Talwara Migrants Rehabilitation Committee Balwan Singh
