| Chinar Primary School Nagrota holds Annual Day function | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 05: Chinar Primary School, Nagrota here celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and thrill. Young student of the school performed colourful cultural programme amidst annual prize distribution function.
Chairman of the school, Group Captain Ajay Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion. He distributed prizes and certificates to the meritorious students. The overall trophy went to Gandhi House for their all round achievements during the academic session. Trophy was received by teacher incharge Anju Tripathi, Dambi and Renu as also by Master Gokul Sharma and Samridhi Sharma.
Speaking to the distinguished gathering, Group Captain appreciated students and staff of the school for putting up wonderful cultural programme. He said that children in this tender age must learn through fun. Students should play and enjoy while learning.
Earlier, officiating Headmistress of the School, Santosh Sharma presented the annual report wherein she requested the community of parents to provide active support in all their efforts to improve the standard of school. She said Chinar Primary School made a humble beginning in 1980 with minimum infrastructure and facilities, which now have grown over the years and have made lot of progress in every field.
Students presented variety of entertaining cultural programme, which started with Saraswati Vandana. The skit on Mahatma Ghandhi and his teachings was appreciated by one and all.
Academic Secretary and Administrative Secretary, Major Sunil Pandita, students, parents and guests attended Annual Day celebrations. The Chinar Primary School is managed by the Sainik School Nagrota and is recognized by the J&K Government.
