Jammu migrants stage dharna outside Raj Bhawan

Jammu, Nov 5- Hundreds of Jammu Migrants camping in Talwara staged a dharna in front of Raj Bhawan, here today demanding urgent intervention of Governor N N Vohra to ensure equity, justice and relief at par with the Kashmiri Migrants as per judgment of the Supreme Court of India in 2006.
The dharna was led by S. Daljit Singh, Vice-President and Anita Thakur General Secretary JKNPP. They told the media that the migrants shall march to Delhi on November 20, in case the Supreme Court order is not implemented on release and rehabilitation. They also expressed shock over then Union Home Minister’s refusal to meet them and to accept the memorandum.
The Jammu migrants also regretted that Prime Minister’s relief package has ignored the Jammu migrants on the advice of the Kashmiri government. The police used force stopping them to take out a procession.
Among others who participated in the dharna included Rajinder Manhas, President Haq Markaz, S.D. Khajuria, Provincial Secretary, Manoj Gupta, Provincial Secretary Young Panthers,
