| Symposium organized | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 5: Symposium on the topic “save beautiful plants on the earth” was organised by Government Higher Secondary School, Ramkote in Tehsil Billawar of Kathua district today. SDM, Billawar, Rafiq Ahmed Inqalabi was the chief guest on the occasion. 9 schools of Ramkote Education Zone participated in the symposium.
As many as 18 students, two each from 9 schools took part in the symposium and expressed their views on the topic. Komal Verma student of 11th class of Government Higher Secondary School secured first position while Prianaka Salgotra student of 12th class and Itika Sharma 9th class of same school bagged 2nd and third positions respectively. Speaking on the occasion, the SDM appreciated the students and urge them to take active part in the extra-curricular activities also. Later, Principal of the school, Janak Raj Sharma presented vote of thanks.
