Jammu, Nov 5 : A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died of cardiac failure, while performing his duty at the Governor House in Jammu, official sources here today said.
''Jawan identified as V B Kalekar of 166 CRPF Battalion complained of chest pain last evening while he was on his duty at Raj Bhawan.
He was immediately shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead,'' police sources told .
The body was of the jawan, however, was sent to his native place after postmortem, they added.
