| Two killed, 22 injured in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 5 : Two people, including a minor, were killed and 22 others were injured in overnight road accidents in the Kashmir valley, official sources said here today. They said a passenger vehicle turned turtle at Devsar in Kulgam district of south Kashmir resulting in on the spot death of one person and injuries to 19 others. The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said.
A boy Ubaid Gani Dar was killed on the spot when he fell down from tractor at Kathpora Bandipora.
Two people were injured when their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at Sheerpora in Kulgam. The injured Ishfaq Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Abbas Mir were admitted to hospital, they said.
They said a pedestrain Mohammad Younis Bajran, a resident of Bihar was hit and injured by a vehicle at Waheedpora crossing in Ganderbal. He was hospitalised. One sumo bearing registration number JK03A/3083 and motorcycle bearing registration number JK013/3303 collided at Sheerpora Kulgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Yaripora, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist namely Ishfaq Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Hamid and pillion mate Mohammad Abass Mir son of Mohammad Amin resident of Wayan Imam Sahib Shopian. Injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard. One Indica car bearing registration number JK014/0370 driven by Abdul Aziz Mir son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir resident of Duderhama Ganderbal hit and injured one person namely Mohammad Younis Bajran resident of Bihar at Waheed Pora crossing Ganderbal. Injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard. One Tata sumo bearing registration number JK05/9835 on way from Sultanpora to Patcher skidded of and turned turtle near Sultanpora Baramulla, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Chandoosa, resulting in minor injuries to two persons namely Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat son of Samad Bhat resident of Patcher and Muzafar Ahmad Lone son of Maqbool resident of Katchwa. Injured were shifted to sub district hospital Chandoosa for treatment. Driver arrested. Police has registered a case in this regard. One motorcycle bearing registration number JK01M/6879 hit and injured one person namely Ghulam Mohammad Shah son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Kalamabad Handwara near Hajj house Bemina Srinagar. Injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
