| Mega Lok Adalat decide 254 cases | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 6: On 12th day of Mega Lok Adalat held at Subordinate Court complex Janipur Jammu. According to Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu B L Bhat who is also chairman District Legal Service Authority that the six benches constituted in which 254 cases was settled. No case was settled by Bench No 1 and Bench NO 2, Bench NO 3 comprising Rajesh Sekhri Additional District Judge (Bank cases) and Y P Kotwal Passenger Tax Magistrate, this Bench took up one pre-litigation case and six regular cases and decided all the seven cases, an amount of Rs 21, 84, 389 was compromised and Rs 1, 55,000 was recovered on spot, Bench No 4 comprising SS Bali Municipal Magistrate Jammu and Yehya Firdous 1st Additional Munsiff Jammu, this bench took up 4 cases and decided three cases, Bench No 5 presided over by Balbir Lal Jaswal Special Mobile Magistrate Traffic, this bench took up 183 cases and settled all the cases, Bench No 6 was presided by Railway Magistrate RS Jasrotia, this bench took up 61 cases and decided all the cases.
