| Bharti Airtel launches new postpaid plans | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 6: Bharti Airtel, telecom service provider, launched new postpaid plans for its customers. With the launch of these plans, Airtel customers will have the freedom of choosing from a variety of plans based on their usage and calling patterns. The newly launched Plan 99 and Plan 75 will be available for all the existing as well as new customers. Plan 99 will be an attractive proposition for customers who desire a one-second pulse. As per the plan, customers will be charged on per second basis. All local Airtel to Airtel calls will be charged at 1 paisa per second where as Airtel to other network calls will be charged at 1.2 paisa per second. The STD calls under this plan will be charged on the same rates as the local charges. However customers desirous of using the minute pulse can subscribe to the ‘Plan 75 that offers 50 paisa per minute tariff for all calls within Airtel network and 60 paisa per minute on other networks. The STD calls are also charged at 50 paisa per minute on Airtel network while as Airtel to other network STD calls will be charged at 60 paisa per minute. The local and national SMS will be charged at 50 paisa and 60 paisa per second in both the plans. The existing customers opting from prepaid to postpaid will have to pay security deposit of Rs 250 with Rs 100 as Plan enrollment fee for services without roaming. The new customers opting for Plan 99 and Plan 75 will have to pay apart from Rs 250 security deposit, Rs 100 plan enrolment fee, an activation fee of Rs 50.
