| BJP leaders allege shortage of ration in CA&PD Depots | | | Early Times Report Jammu Nov 7 Expressing concerns over the shortage of ration at CA&PD depots in Jammu, State BJP has asked the Chief Minister if there exists any government, and, if yes, where is it and what is it doing for the people? State General Secretary Shamsher Singh Manhas said, “Despite repeated assurances, the CAPD department has totally failed to ensure adequate and regular supply of these food itmes in depots for distribution among the masses.’ It seems that the concerned Minister and higher officials of CAPD make such claims while sitting in air conditioned rooms but are factually unaware of ground situation, he said. Manhas said be it monthly pay, promotion, regularization, compensation or discrimination, the people have to come on roads for telling the government while a fleet of ministers and bureaucrats, the state exchequer spends crores of rupees every month has failed to feel the pain of the masses. The BJP leader asked the concerned minister and the CAPD officials to wake up, have stock of the situation and take immediate and honest steps to mitigate the sufferings of the people.
