| Instructor hurt in 'accidental' fire at Udhampur Police Academy | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 7 : A police instructor was hurt in an 'accidental' fire during a training session at Sher-e-Kashmir Police Training Academy in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here today said.
The Sources said police instructor Ghulam Mustafa was injured last evening when a rifle of a trainee went off ‘accidentally’ and a bullet hit his thigh during a session at the Academy.''The instructor was immediately shifted to a hospital where he was operated upon while his condition was stated to be stable,'' sources told .
Police have registered a case and started investigations to ascertain the facts.
