| Declare heroes of India’s freedom as National Heroes, demands Bhim | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 7- Thousands Kshatriyas gathered in Arra, the land of Babu Kunwar Singh who sacrificed his life in 1857 against the British Rule, pledged to unite and defend the nation’s freedom, independence and sovereignty at the borders and at home. JKNPP Chairman Prof. Bhim Singh who was the Chief Guest on the occasion demanded that all the heroes of India’s freedom from Rana Pratap to Babu Kunwar Singh should be declared as National Heroes. He accused Central and State governments for deliberately ignoring the regional and national history from the syllabus of the schools and colleges. He demanded that regional and national history should be taught from 1st class to post-graduation so that new generation would know their old history of sacrifices, morality and the contribution. Prof Singh called upon the youth of the country to take up Samul Kranti as the movement for protection of the nation. He said that every young man in the country should join Samul Kranti to defeat violence and terrorism and ensure justice for every man, women and child in the country. On this occasion Prof Singh was presented a sword and a turban by the President of the Kshatriya Maha Sabha.
