Talents hunt for J&K PYC President to be held on Nov 9-10.

Jammu, Nov 07- As a part of process at national level, All India Youth Congress Committee (AIYCC) today announced to conduct “talent search” for the post of President of J&K Pradesh Youth Congress in Jammu and Kashmir on November 9 and 10.
The talent hunt exercise will be carried in Jammu and Kashmir as per the guidelines of AICC General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi with a view to start a process of bringing new leadership and the responsibility of the organization among the youth, the General Secretary AIYCC, Nadeem Javid, incharge Jammu and Kashmir, told reporters here.
To implement the talent hunt process, Rahul Gandhi has appointed Youth Congress and NSUI based leaders in talent search committees, he said, adding it includes Union Ministers and leaders like Mukul Vasnik, Anand Sharma, Jagdish Tytler, V. K. Hari Prasad, Dapinder Huda, Jatinder Singh and Ashok Tanwar.
For Jammu and Kashmir, a five member committee comprising Union Minister Jatin Parsad, senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, AICC Secretary and Member Parliament Jatinder Singh, former President of NSUI Saleem Ahmed and president AIYCC Ashok Tanwar, has been appointed to carry talent hunt process in Srinagar and Jammu cities on November 9 and 10 respectively, Javid said.
Clarifying that only those youth below the age of 35 years would be considered for taking up the responsibilities, he said that the youth will be selected upon their merits and not on the basis of religion, region, caste and creed.
The youth who have been manning the posts in Youth Congress NSUI and others also are invited in the talent hunt process, will be screened for the post of State Youth Congress President, which will be finally be approved by Rahul Gandhi, he said.
Javid said that Youth Congress Committee has recently been dissolved in Jammu and Kashmir in order to attract quality leadership who are interested to give their time and service in politics.
The Congress is the only party which has opened its doors for the youth of the country to come forward and play their role in politics on the party’s platform in order to serve the countrymen, he added.
PCC General Secretary and spokesperson Ravinder Sharma-MLC was also present at the press conference.
