| Amandeep murder case: | | Court reserves order on bail of former SSP | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 07- The Sessions Court today again reserved the order on bail applications of suspended and arrested Police officers involved in destroying the evidence in much publicised murder case of Amandeep Singh, son of former legislator until November 12 when the order may be pronounced. After hearing at length Advocates OP Sharma, PN Raina and DS Chouhan appearing for the the accused SSP Jammu, Manohar Singh, SHO Sultan Mirza, Sub Inspectors, Satnam Singh, Sarwar Hussain Bukhari and Raj Singh of FSL and senior Advocate Sunil Sethi appearing for the SIT, the Principal Sessions Judge Jammu B L Bhat reserved the order on bail applications for November 12, 2009. In the challan presented in the court it has been submitted that accused Choudhary Nagar Singh alias Nago and others hatched a criminal conspiracy to escape from the clutches of law through police help who allegedly changed the weapon of offence and bullet. During investigation it was revealed that former SSP Jammu ,former SHO Gandhi Nagar Sultan Mehmood Mirza and Satnam Singh former SI IO Gandhi Nagar hatched conspiracy with Nagar Singh alias Nago to destroy the evidence including the weapon of offence. The police officers were first suspended and thereafter arrested in the case for fudging the evidence. In the challan it has been claimed that during the investigation the SP City South made sensational disclosure which was recorded under section 164-A Criminal Procedure Code (Cr PC) and the statements of other witnesses recorded under section 161 Cr PC. During the investigation accused Choudhary Nagar Singh had withdrawn Rs 6.20 crore from State Bank of India Hari Market Jammu and it is suspected that this amount was used to save his son the challan mentions.
