| Processions not allowed near ‘New Sectt’ | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, NOV 7: In view of annual Darbar Move, District Magistrate Jammu, M. K. Dwivedi in exercise of powers vested in him under section 144 Cr.P.C. has ordered that no processions shall be taken out by any individual or groups of individuals and no provocative slogans shall be raised by anyone in the area from Bajaj Tower to Amar Filling Station, on flyover from Police Control Room to District Institute of Education and Training behind New Secretariat, Jammu, on flyover from Subash Chowk (Maheshpura Chowk) to District Institute of Education and Training and Rotary behind New Secretariat to New Secretariat. However, this order shall not apply to marriage and funeral processions. This order shall come into force with effect from November 9, 2009 for a period of two months or till rescinded whichever is earlier.
