| Vohra asks people to contribute generously towards Scouts | | | Early Times report
Jammu, Nov 8 : Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today called upon all sections of the society to contribute generously to the Annual Flag Day Fund of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, for enabling added impetus being given to its activities in the state.
The Governor was interacting with a group of Scouts and Guides who, along with the functionaries of the J&K state Bharat Scouts and Guides, called on him at Raj Bhavan here.
Mr Vohra stressed the need for taking the activities of Scouts and Guides to the remote and far-flung areas of the state and also bring a larger number of boys and girls under its umbrella.
The Governor discussed with the functionaries about their calendar of activities in the next year and assured all possible support in promoting the movement for the larger benefit of the youth of the state.
