4 held for ETT paper Leak, probe ordered

Jammu, Nov 8: Four ETT students were arrested by bus stand police in connection with leakage of English paper of two years course of Elementary Teachers Training paper scam. Acting swiftly the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has constituted a committee and had summoned secretary Sheikh Bashir from Kashmir who will lead the committee to inquire about the leakage of paper.
“We have called Secretary of JKBOSE Sheikh Bashir from Srinagar to inquire into the matter as we have standing committee for the purpose” Chairman JKBOSE Deshbandu told Early Times. However, he has not ruled out of the cancellation of the leaked paper. Meanwhile internal sources has informed that Police has rounded up some board employees allegedly involved in the dirty game and for the purpose a police team led by SHO bus stand Sajad Ahmed will meet with the Chairman of JKBOSE today, sources maintained.
A day before the English paper of ETT, Bus stand police on specific information that English paper of 7/10 session of ETT had been leaking out by four ETT Punjab based students, conducted a raid in a restaurant in the area and arrested them and recovered question paper. The matter was brought to the notice of Joint Secretary of JKBOSE who ruled out any possibility alleged that it could have been a guess paper.Today police team reached in the board with the detained paper from accused. By the time police party reached in the board office Rehari papers had already been circulated. The detained paper was put on the table of Joint Secretary and during match it with original paper police found all the seven questions had same language though they were not in a proper sequence. The four ETT students have been identified as Sukhvinder son of Sant Singh, Jaswinder son of Sampuran Singh, Sukhvinder Pal son of Rajesh Lal and Vishwadeep son of Dharam Chand all are residents of Jallabad.During interrogation police has also come to know some name of board employees involved in shabby game and their arrests are likely, sources informed.
