Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered a haul of ammunition, including a Chinese grenade, in bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Based on specific information, jawans of 156 Territorial Army, yesterday launched a search operation at Narari Gali near LKG Sector and busted a militant hideout,” official sources told.
Adding to it sources said that during searches, the security forces recovered one 7.63 mm pistol, an empty pistol magazine, a Chinese hand grenade, 83 bullets of AK-47 rifle, 1.250 grams of black coloured explosives and Tharoya Mobile phone from the hideout.
Army has cordoned off the area and intensified the search operation while no arrest has been made so far.
