| Local leader alleges model villages lacking basic amenities | | | Early Times Report
Ramnagar Nov 9 : R. S. Pathania, Advocate, has expressed serious dissatisfaction with the level of planning and quantum of development in modal villages in Ramnagar assembly segment and has alleged that all model villages san basic amenities.
He alleged the funds meant for the model villages are pilferaged least efforts have been made to involve other departments in the all-round development of these villages thereby leading to a sorry state where the people living in these modal villages are living in abject poverty, neglect and administrative isolation without basic living facilities like water, electricity, slipshod educational facilities, human healthcare, animal and sheep healthcare and other recreational facilities.
Pathania has further called for a special package for inclusive development of these villages situated in a bad pocket suffering from poor economic conditions and administrative neglect.
