Ramban, Nov 9: A national legal services day was celebrated today in the premises of district court complex, Ramban under the chairmanship of principal district and sessions Judge, Ramban present on the occasion were MLA Ashok Kumar, CJM Ramban, Sub Judge, Batote, Munsiff Ramban, Munsiff Banihal, Dy SP Banihal, Dy SP Gool, sarpanches, panches etc participated in the said function and in the IInd session of the day a special lok adalat was also organized for the facilitation of cases under motor vehicles act, matrimonial disputes, land disputes, criminal cases of compoundable nature etc. On the said occasions Jyoti apprised the audience about the significance of national legal literacy day and laid emphasis with respect to implementation of legal day scheme at the grass root level.
The proceedings were compared by advocate Tassaduk Hussain and vote of thanks were presented by RK Abrol sub judge Batote. On the said occasion a special Lok Adalat also organized where in three benches were constituted headed by CJM Ramban, sub judge Batote and district judge Ramban.
