Jammu, Nov 9 : A 30-year-old woman pilgrim died of cardiac failure in a hotel at Vaishno Devi base camp Katra in mountainous Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said here today.
“Matneesha Devi, 30, wife of Updesh, resident of Bhanpur, district Lalipur, Uttar Pradesh died of heart attack in a hotel room last night,’’ police sources told .
She was immediately shifted to the hospital but declared brought dead. The deceased had come to Katra along with her family members to pay obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi cave shrine.
The police have handed over the body to the family members for the last rites after post-mortem
