| VHP takes exception to CM’s likening Kashmir to Ireland | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 10- Criticizing Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on comparing Kashmir issue with that of Ireland, Sri Lanka and Palestine, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Dr Rama Kant Dubey has termed the statement as ‘unfortunate’ and maintained that the CM does not know the ABC of under lying currents of Kashmir problem and those of Ireland, Sri Lanka or Palestine. Talking to media persons here today, Dubey said ‘Kashmir issue is actually a problem of some so-called opportunist rulers who for the sake of their chairs speak different at different forms without knowing future consequences especially in a most sensitive state like ours”. “Ours is a socialistic and democratic desperation where every body or ethnic group has equal right for following their own way of life when entire country of 1.25 billion people spreading 28 states with 7 union territories have no problem what hell has fallen on our state rulers”, he mentioned. He also criticized Home Minister P Chidambaram’s theory of ‘Quiet Diplomacy’ in the state.
