Celebrating resumption of DMUs form Udhampur, the Udhampur unit of Congress has expressed heartiest thanks to Union Minster for Family & Health Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad, for his efforts in resolving the said issue.
After remaining off the rails and riff-raff protests from the public, particularly students, the cancelled DMUs have been ordered to be restored by the Railway authorities.
Udhampur Congress-unit led by Bhupinder Singh Pathania, President DCC Udhampur & Brij Mohan Sharma Sr Congress leader from Udhampur had called upon the Union Minster on Nov 4 and sought his intervention into the matter. Union Minister and Ex chief minister of State Azad assured of taking up the matter with the Union Railway Minister and getting the trains restored at any cost.
