| Adbi Kunj J&K remembers script writer Akhtar-ul-Imaan | | | Early Times Reports Jammu Nov 10 Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu held a composite literary cum poetic meet at its literary centre paid tributes to well known poet and cine script/dialogue writer Akhtar-ul-Imaan on his 99th birth anniversary which falls on Nov 12. The said session was presided over by Sham Talib President and the proceedings were conducted by Talib Kashmiri, General Secreatary, Adbi Kunj whereas Shabir Hussain Shabir President Bazm-i-Faoughe Ilm-o-Adab Nowgam Banihal was the chief guest on this occasion. The participants through a resolution expressed grief over the untimely demise in a road accident of the son Sham Bihari, a well known writer/poet and an old associate of Adbi Kunj on Nov 5 at Delhi. They also paid tributes to well known poet and cine script/dialogue writer Akhtar-ul-Imaan on his 99th birth anniversary Nov 12. Writers and poets recited their stories during story session and the poetry session held on this occasion. Prof. Ved Prakash(Hindi), Tayayab Bharti ( Urdu), Maharaj Krishen (Urdu), Talib Kashmiri ( Kashmiri), Dr Ram Pal Sharma( Dogri), Smt Ayodhya Rani Gamkhwar (Urdu), Rajiv Kumar ( Hindi), M S Kamra ( Urdu), Rakesh Kumar Sarkar (Hindi), Rajeshwar Bhakri ( Hindi), Com Jaswant Singh ( Urdu), Rakesh Verma ( Hindi), Shabir Hussain Shabir (Kashmiri), Rakesh Kumar Tript ( Dogri) and Sham Talib( Urdu) also read their works. The meet concluded with vote of thanks presented by Com. Jaswant Singh, Chief Organiser, Adbi Kunj.
