Jammu, Nov 11: Alexander Memorial School, Jammu, in collaboration with Jammu Young Men’s Christian Association (a unit of Chandigarh-Shimla YMCA) celebrated children’s day as junior sports day for the students of 1st to 5th primary today in the school premises by holding sports events and competitions along with socio-economically weaker children of Viraj Bal Bhawan School, Nagrota.
Gulshan Mahajan, Corporator, Ward No. 7. Jammu Municipal Corporation, was the “Chief Guest”. Many distinguished persons including Raj Bharti, principal, Viraj Bal Bhawan Nagrota, Lazar Kandaray, Victor Sotra members of YMCA, Jammu unit, ID Soni State Commissioner Scouts, Narseen Khan, State Commissioner Guides and Principals of several reputed institutions of Jammu were also present during the function.
Earler, Esther William, principal, Alexander Memorial School Jammu, alongwith her senior staff members received the chief guest and two tiny tots of the school presented him the customary bonquet.
