Jammu, Nov 11: The govt. MAM College celebrated the national education day by organizing an on spot slogan writing competition on the theme ‘Innovations in the Indian Education System’.
The event was meaningful with the active participation of 26 students exhibiting their creative skills in a colourful display of catchy slogans. Garjinder Singh, Afreen Gani and Vivek Raina were awarded the first, second and third prizes respectively.
The principal of college Prof. MS Baloria in his address paid rich tributes to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad and exhorted the students to focus on their academics for a bright and dynamic future. The judges for the contest were Prof. Kiran Raina and Dr. Twinkle Suri.
