| Thakur invited to Habib Tanveer symposia | | |

Jammu Nov 11: Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur has been invited to ‘Rang Habib’- a National symposium on legendary theatre personality Habib Tanveer being held at Bhopal from Nov 21-26.
Spokesperson of theatre club said the programme is being organized by Indra Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangralyla, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India this National Theatre Symposia will focus the various aspects of the theatre methodology and contribution of Habib Tanveer. ‘Natrang Director Balwant Thakur has the honor to present a key note address on the impact of Habib’s theatre work on the contemporary Indian Theatre and its legacy, the statement added. A six day festival of theatre is also being featured by the Naya Theatre which Habib started fifty years ago featuring the play os Habib Tanveer like, ‘Charan Dass, Chor’, ‘Agara Bazaar’, ‘Raaj Rakt’, ‘Jis Lahore Ni Dekhaya’ ‘Sarak’, Kamdev Kaa Apana, ‘Vasant Ritu Ka Sapana’.
