| 1 fatal in 4 suicide bids | | 2 dead in mishaps, 3 go missing | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 11: Two persons have been reported dead in a road accident in border area of Akhnoor Tehsil, Police said at least four cases of suicide attempts were recorded in the district overnight in which one case proved fatal. In other incidents reported at various Police stations, three persons including a CRPF troopers have gone missing in the region. Two persons died and 22 others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu, police said. Police reports said that one matador bearing registration number JK029/3360 on way from Panjgrain to Pangeri rolled down at Zad falling under the jurisdiction of police station Akhnoor, resulting in on spot death of two persons namely Ramesh Kumar son of Dewarika Nath and Ravi Kumar son of Banarsi Dass residents of Pangeri and injures to ten other persons. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. In another road accident one Maruti car bearing registration number JK0M/8226 on way from Srinagar to Jammu rolled down at Nashri, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Chanderkote, resulting in injuries to three persons. Injured were shifted to hospital for while police has registered a case in this regard Meanwhile, three persons went missing in Jammu region the police said. Police records said that one Davinder Kumar son of Madan Lal resident of H. No. 11 Patoli Mangotrain Jammu went missing from Oct 29 from his home. The police has registered missing case in this regard. Constable Sanjeev Kumar No. 1570949 of 3rd Bn. CRPF is reportedly missing from nov 8 from Transit Camp Channi Rama while Razia Kousar daughter of Zahoor Ahmed resident of Sakhi Madan went missing from Nov 07 from Mendhar as per police reports. Police said that four persons reportedly consume some poisonous substances at their homes while one of them has expired. According to police, Radhey wife of Sham Lal resident of Gharota, Rukhsana daughter of Ghulam Ali resident of Beli Charana, Navid Ahmed son of Khadim Hussain resident of Ragura were admitted in GMC Jammu after they consumed poison. Meanwhile Mohammad Sharief son of Mohammad Shabir resident of Kalaban Surankote, who was admitted in GMC Jammu after he had consumed some poisonous substance at Bus Stand Jammu, expired today.
