| Act swiftly to complaints: AIJPS to CM | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 11- All India Janata Party Secular today appealed the Chief Minister to act swiftly against the complaints in Chief Minister’s Grievances Cell.
Addressing media persons here today, National President, AIJP Som Nath Dabgotra welcomed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for establishment of a Grievance Cell a few months back for the welfare of the people of the State who can make their complaints directly and unapproachable people of J&K State will be able to make their complaints directly to the Chief Minister. He mentioned that no swift action has been taken by the CM on the complaints which the people have registered in CM’s grievances cell.
Dabgota said that hundreds of such cases are pending with the concerned authorities and amongst them we cite the examples of two complaints like Complaint No. 3887 and 4302 whose report has not been yet forwarded to the CM.
‘We fail to understand why the complaints are pending when the CM has already directed the subordinate officers that the report of the complaint be completed within 5 days’, he questioned.
He appealed to the Chief Minister to look into the matter and take immediate action against the corrupt elements.
He alleged corrupt elements in the Government machinery and high ups and said that we will not disclose any name at this stage but warn the Government that in case action is taken against such officers the All India Janata Party Secular will make protests and disclose the names of these corrupt elements in the general public.
