Jammu, Nov 11- General Officer Commanding Crossed Swords Division today flagged off an educational tour of 35 students of border villages of Jammu and Kashmir. During the 11-day tour the children will visit historical and important places of interest at Jaipur, Agra, Delhi and Amritsar.
Addressing the children before the Flag- Off Ceremony, GOC said that children are the future of the country and they should know the geographical, cultural and traditions of the country, so that they can feel oneness with the people of other parts of the country. Visits are the best way to meet, discuss, understand, and come together, he added. On this occasion Senior Army officers, parents and civil dignitaries were also present.
