| JWAM to go on indefinite stir against rising price | | | Early Times Report Jammu Nov 12 The Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today has stated that it would start a indefinite strike from Nov 15 against failure of the state and union government to provide basic amenities to the people of the city and to check the rising price of essential commodities. In this regard, a meeting was held today under the leadership of president Jammu West Assembly Movement Sunil Dimple. While addressing the members in this meeting, Dimple urged upon Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take immediate steops to resolve the traffic chaos within winter capital of state by ordering construction of flyovers. Dimple further said the condition of roads, lanes and drains were bad, overflowing drains have made the life of the people miserable. He also demanded district status to Jammu West Assembly Constituency and bifurcation of the said constituency for development. Dimple warned that if the government did not pay attention for the development of the city and to check the rising price of essential commodities, JWAM would intensify their agitation from Nov 15
