Tarigami condemns use of force against SRTC employees

Srinagar, Nov12- Strongly condemning the use of force by police against the SRTC employees who have been protesting in favour of their genuine demands the State Secretary CPI (M) and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has stressed on the government not to take the issues of the striking SRTC employees for granted and come out with a concrete view on the future policy of all PSU’s in the state.
Terming the action as unwarranted he said that delaying tactics was not solution of the problems confronting the SRTC employees and added that JKSRTC has suffered losses worth crores during the strike, besides creating serious hardships to its staff.
The CPI (M) State Secretary appealed the striking SRTC employees to come forward for negotiations and hoped that fruitful talks between the employees of SRTC and the government would bring an acceptable solution for the issues that lead to the standstill of SRTC operations.
