Jammu, Nov 14: Sher-e-Kashmir university of science and technology, Jammu (SKUAST-J) in collaboration with Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), New Delhi is organizing a three day zonal workshop of KVKs of zone –I (J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana) from 15 -17 November 2009.
During this workshop Dr. KD Kolate, DDG, agriculture extension, zonal project director from the ICAR, director extension education from the state agricultural universities of zone-I along with programme coordinator/s of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (61 KVKs from states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi) falling in the zone will be participating.
The progress made during the year 2008-09 shall be discussed thoroughly (KVK wise) and action plan for the year 2010-11 shall also be finalized also.
