| MAM College organize lecture on career counseling | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: The career counseling centre of MAM College in coordination with the department of social sciences organized an innovative lecture on career options in social sciences. Prof. Depanker Sen Gupta from the department of economics and Sandeep Singh, project officer, department of counting and distance education were the chief resource persons. Prof. Depankar exhorted the students to expose themselves to a wider environment outside the state which would hone their creative abilities and provide them with several opportunities in the discipline of social science, while Sandeep deliberated upon the various career options available in social sciences.
The principal of college, Prof. MS Baloria in his address impressed upon the students to have a positive mindset towards the achievement of their goals. He stressed that it was imperative for the budding youth to be focused in the pursuance of their cherished dreams. The lecture was followed by an interactive system-answer session. Prof. Ghulam Choudhary presented the formal vote of thanks.
