The website www.jkhealth.org gives us complete details regarding the postings of doctors. Later, similar details about other staff will also be available.
So far, the details regarding postings of doctors are either known to the doctors themselves, their spouses or the directorate of health services.
This information is controlled by clerks, section officers and other staff in the directorate.
The website is all set to change that as details regarding the postings of doctors, to begin with, have been placed in public domain.
A cursory perusal of the website showed that Dr Sunil Kaila, son of Shri Brij Mohan Kaila, of Rajouri, has been located in the Jammu city itself for the last over 22 years, since August 1, 1987. On that day, he joined as Assistant Surgeon in the Mobile Medical Unit, Jammu, according to the website.
On August 1, 1989, he joined the CMO’s office at Jammu. He later went on to work in the Epidemic Office, as MO Stores, MO in CMO office, Jammu etc.
On November 1, 1996, he joined the Mobile Medical Unit in Jammu again and stayed there for two years.
He joined the Directorate of Health Services Jammu on December 1, 1998, and has been there till date, though in different capacities. He is likely to retire in 2013 and sources in the directorate said that he will continue to remain in Jammu till then.
