Jammu, Nov 15: The mohalla welfare committee (WMC) Gujjar Nagar organized a function to felicitate Mohmad Ayub Malik on becoming vice president of National Conference (NC). Political advicsor NC to President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Aslam Goni who was the chief guest on the occasion while addressing the gathering urged upon the workers of the party to work in coordination so that benefits of state as well as centre sponsored schemes could be extended to the common masses of the state and particularly to the poor and needy section of the society.
Malik on the occasion urged upon the workers to strengthen the party at grass root level, and added that civic, panchayat elections are to follow shortly in which workers have to provide their worth by securing large number of candidates victorious.
