| Rs. 13.60 cr. incurred on road connectivity | | | RAJOURI, OCTOBER 04 - An amount of Rs.517.44 lakh was spent to complete capital component of 136 on going schemes in district Rajouri during the last financial year. About 30.05 kms road length was black topped, 11.20 kms metalled, 9.05 kms shingled, 24.40 kms fair whether road have been constructed by utilizing the allocations. In addition, 842.03 lakh were utilized under state sector during the period for black topping 14.75 kms metalling and 18.20 kms, shingled of 12.20 kms and construction of 12.85 kms of fair whether roads besides completion of 51 pipe culverts. In all 15 villages with population of 11700 souls have been provided road connectivity facilities. The roads completed in the district include More-Dodasanbala, Kakora-Hyatpura, Bamblidigala road, Tariath-Hari-Chamb, Targain, Shongar-Sair Makari, Kampla Paterari, Meth-Kanthols, Galuti-Sangiote and Sohra-Gambir Mughlan roads. Similarly, link road leading to Dhanore/Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has been completed. Eighty period work on widening and upgradation of Thannamandi-Shahedra Sharief road has also been completed. Besides this three motorable bridges at Narrian, Muradpur and Mubrakpura have also been taken in hand for construction last year. |
