Jammu, Nov 18- Students of Shirt Mata Vaishno Devi University made a clean sweep at the Management festival organized by Doon Business School, Dehradun in which 15 colleges from different states of the country participated.
The 9-member squad consisting Irbha Magotra, Shivdev Singh Jamwal, Vivek Gupta, Sweats Khajuria, Roma Devi, Iesha Dasi, Sonam Gupta, Radhika Marring and Teheran Goswami of MBA (Business Economics) 3rd semester from School of Business Economics, College of Management represented SMVDU and bagged the overall Winners Trophy by showing performance in all walks of the fest. A total of 12 events were organized, in which the students from SMVDU participated and secured first position in the events like Product Promotion, Business Plan, Case Study, Speed Chess, Arm Wrestling and Tug of War; and obtained second position in Business Quiz, Arm Wrestling, Solo-Dance and Ship Wreck(Extempore). The award of star performer of the whole festival was won by Shivdev Singh Jamwal of the same campus.
Prof N.K.Bansal, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU congratulated the squad of students over the gigantic success in the management festival.
