| Panthers plead cause of unemployed youths | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 18- JKNPP General Secretary Anita Thakur has asked the Congress-NC government to fulfill the promises made with all unemployed youth and agriculture technocrats at the time of Assembly elections and end despair of those who are on Dharna/hunger strikes in the city. Thakur along with party activists participated in the dharna held by Agriculture Technocrats at Press Club and assured Protestants of her party’s support to their genuine demands. The JKNPP leader said that state government had assured in the Assembly that Agriculture Graduates would be regularized in the services on priority but so far no effective steps have been initiated to fulfill the “assurance”. She said Congress-NC ministers are enjoying 5-star life style at the cost of poor masses and their style of governance has not changed a bit despite high “publicity hype” of state Information Department. There is no “stop” to corruption and backdoor appointments of nears and dears of the ministers and their henchmen, she alleged. In the meantime Farooq Ahmed Bhat, a social worker from Chura Sopore joined Panthers Party along with hundreds of supporters here today. He was welcomed in the party fold by Party Vice-Presidents S. Daljit Singh and P.K. Ganju, General Secretary, Anita Thakur, K.S. Vedi and Prof. Bhim Singh Chairman of the party. Farooq Ahmed said that he was attracted by the secular character, self less functioning of the party leaders, clean image of the party and its resolve to reunification and reorganization of the state of Jammu and joined the party under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Bhim Singh
