Early Times Reporter Jammu October 4 J&K Academy of Art and Culture accorded a warm welcome to the J&K Cultural troupe after their successful participation in International Navratra festival at Gandhi Nagar, Ahmadabad Gujarat. Rafeeq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Academy of Art and Culture congratulated them for the commendable performance in the Garba Folk dance and other cultural items. Later, he had an thorough interaction with the participating artists and management team and wished them good luck for future. Thereafter, he distributed certificates and mementos to the artists which were presented by the Gujarat Government during the Navratra Festival. Rafiq Masoodi was all praise for Ifra Mushtaq (student of GCW Gandhi Nagar) for her fine performance in the festival. The artists who participated in the festival were Surbhi Sharma, Abhilasha, Rani, Sonia Saini, Vandana Wazir, Shital Verma, Sadaf Nazir Bhat, Sunita Mehta, Ankita Sharma, Kamakshi Patyal, Humera Nazir, Ifra Mushtaq, Mehru Nessa, Shabana Karim, Ghulam Ahmad Bulbul, Sarwar Bulbul, Abdul Gafar Sha, Habib-Ul-Lah Sha, Ghulam Mohi-ul-Din Sha and Shashi Gupta. Prof. Raj Kumari was the professor incharge of the students while Anil Tikko was the team manager. The cultural troupe was lead by Shamima Akhtar SOCA-G-I Cultural Academy.
