| Two day poetic symposia and story recitation concludes | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu October 4 On the second day and concluding day of Poetic Symposia and Story Recitation organized by the J&K Academy of Art and Culture in collaboration with North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC) Patiala, story recitation was held today. Prof. Reeta Jitender, Kanti Singh Chouhan and Sheetal Sharma read their stories. The title of Kanta Singh Chouhan’s title was “Mukrudan” means silent while Sheetal Sharma’s story title was “Samjhauta”. Sheetal is a B.A. final year student of GCW Gandhi Nagar and also one of the promising talent in the field of story writing. Earlier, Rafiq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Academy of Art and Culture in his welcome address stressed upon the need to conduct more such programmes in future to generate literary interest and also to hold cultural discussions at regular intervals in order to cover all aspects of . He also disclosed that the academy is planning to organize an All India level Cultural programme in future. Neeru Sharma, editor “Sheeraz”, Dr. R.L. Shant, Dr. Baljit Raina and many other prominent literary figures were present on the occasion.
