Two women smugglers were arrested along with 15 kg of poppy husk at Jahhar Kotli on Jammu-Srinagar national highway, about 25 kms from here, police said.
On specific information, police intercepted a bus at Jajjar Kotli and arrested two women and recovered 15 kg of poppy straw from their possession on Tuesday night, police said.
The arrested women have been identified as Rani and Usha Devi, both residents of neighboring Punjab state, police added. Police took both the women for questioning and registered a case against them.
