| JD Institute of Fashion Technolgy students organizes 4 day Industrial tour | | | Early Times Report

JD institute of fashion technolog Jammu centre organised a 4 days industrial tour for its students, where in the students went to Delhi to make practical surveys related to their courses.
The students Was accompanied by Maansi gupta , centre director &. Vaishali gupta faculty accompanied the students in the entire trip.
The students on their tour learn various skills like at weavers centre, they were able to study the different types of looms and their parts .the centre had a weaving section, a designing section and dyeing and printing section. They also visited delhi haat and gathered first hand information on all the handlooms and handicrafts of India.
The students of interior design course visited khan market for the study of interior lights and kirti nagar for the survey of the furniture market. The students of interiors also prepared a project on the select city mall at saket where they surveyed the interiors of shops on the type of finishes, polishes, types of tables, types of wall and lighting.
Students also visited Akshar Dham mandir where they surveyed the exclusive architecture of the temple
A special seminar at ISKON TEMPLE was conducted where renowned speakers like simmi khanna , nishant from India bulls & nitin kartikeya from dozakh gave knowledge to jd jammu students about retail marketing , merchandising and launching a label of own brand & designer as a career and lectured them on the meaning of fashion and the various intricacies of the designing world.
