Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 19- Panun Kashmir (PK) today announced to organize the 3rd chapter of ‘Panun Kashmir Sankalap Yatra’ from January 2010.
Talking to media persons here today, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president, Panun Kashmir said that PK had already conducted and led two chapters of the Sankalp Yatra earlier within and outside the country successfully and it was decided to add different and fresh dimensions to the new chapter of the Yatra by focusing also on the present plight of the community youth.
‘Emphasis would be laid on the employment issue of the community youth during the Yatra with a specific reference to the assurances, declarations and employment package announced by the Prime Minister which remained unfulfilled till date’, he said and adding, ‘Yatra will cover five states including J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra and Karnataka’.
Stressing to strengthen the organization and take a frontal role in spreading the political message of the ‘Homeland struggle’, he said that PK in a meeting authorized the Core Group of office bearers to finalize the organizational response to the current developments at political level.
‘Panun Kashmir would be unfolding a security template that would guide all the nationalistic forces in their approach to the subject and it will take necessary steps to come out openly to rekindle the thought process and follow up action of the Homeland movement’, he mentioned.
Prof M L Raina, Chairman, Political Affairs Committee and Virender Raina National Spokesperson were also present on the occasion.
