Jammu, Nov 19- Women Development Corporation is organizing a 10 day exhibition at Dusehra ground, Gandhinagar, here from 21st November. The corporation will have 30 stalls in the exhibition for sale of products such as Kashmiri handmade shawls, Pushmina, Embroidery suits, Sozni items, Crewel items papier-mashie, Jute items, Dry fruit, Artificial Flowers, Tie and Dye suits, Bed covers, cushion covers, sweaters, Jam and Pickle, etc.
The beneficiaries and self help groups will get an opportunity to interact and have a buyer-seller meet during the exhibition. The beneficiaries participating in the exhibition belong to different districts including Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Kupwara, Budgam, Baramulla, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian.
It is pertinent that the Jammu and Kashmir State Women Development Corporation is working under single window system for empowering women of the state and making them self-reliant by providing training, loaning and market support.
