| Orders reserved on Choudhary brother’s custody to SIT | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, NOV 19: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu today reserved the order for handing over the custody of Choudhary brothers to Special Investigating Team (SIT).
After hearing arguments on an application filed by SIT seeking police custody of Choudhary brothers by senior Advocate MA Goni with Advocates MA Bhat, Asthsham, Butt and Ajay Singh Kotwal appearing for accused and senior Advocate Sunil Sethi, who was appointed Special Public Prosecutor in the murder of Amandeep Singh, the Judge reserved the order for handing over the custody of Choudhary Nagar Singh, Choudhary Jagar Singh and Rakesh Singh to SIT. Presently these accused are in jail.
The SIT in its application sought custody of Choudhary brothers for investigation the much publicised murder case of Amandeep and alleged fudging of evidence and replacing the weapon used in the murder. – JNF
