Jammu Nov 20: Women Development Corporation is organizing a 10 day exhibition-cum-buyer-seller meet at Dusehra Ground, Gandhinagar, here from November 21. The corporation will have 30 stalls in the exhibition for sale of handicrafts products including Kashmiri handmade Pushmina shawls, Embroidery suits, Sozni, Crewel items, papier-machie, Jute items, Dry fruit, Artificial Flowers, Tie and Dye suits, Bed covers, cushion covers, sweaters, Jam and Pickle, etc.
The self help groups will get an opportunity to interact with each other of the buyer-seller meet. The beneficiaries participating in the exhibition belong to different districts including Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Kupwara, Budgam, Baramulla, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian.
It is pertinent that the Jammu and Kashmir State Women Development Corporation is working under single window system for empowering women of the state and making them self-reliant by providing training, loaning and marketing support.
