| Swankha to be developed as Model village | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 20: Government has accorded sanction for the development of Model Village Swankha in block Vijaypur, district Samba under Board Area Development Programme (BADP) at an estimated cost of Rs.653.50 lakhs. Sanction has also been accorded to the release of Rs.39.45 lakhs in favour of District Development Commissioner, Samba for its utilization on the approved works during 2009-2010.
Government also accorded sanction to the release of Rs.5.94 crores as first installment of Additional Central Assistance (ACA) under JNNURM in favour of J&K State Urban Infrastructure development Agency (SUIDA) for urban transport and stimulus package in the mission cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
