| Army hands over renovated school building to people | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Nov 20: The Commanding Officer of Arnora Based Rashtriya Rifles, inaugurated and handed over Government Girls Middle School building, Khankot after carrying out the renovation and repairs under Op Sadbhavna.
‘The long outstanding demand of locals, teachers and students for renovation/repair of Government school building was given due consideration by the Rashtriya Rifles, the army spokesperson said and added that the school building was in dilapidated condition and was not sufficient to provide protection from odd weather conditions to students. The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent citizens of the area, Headmaster, Government Girls Middle School, Khankot, Irshad Ali, Sarpanch Khankot Mangtha Wani, lamberdar khankot Visaq Hussain, school teachers, students and locals of village Khankot who were quite appreciate for the efforts put in by the Rashtriya Rifles.
