| NSUI resents discrimination with student community | | | Early Times Report Doda, Nov 20: The National Students Union of India district unit has threatened to intensify its struggle against the discrimination meted out to the students’ community, The Union in a meeting held at Degree College Bhaderwah, under the chairmanship of its district president and state secretary Mohammed Sajid Malik, discussed the problems confronting the students and urged the government to resolve these at the earliest. On this occasion the Union elected Saima Malik student of BA Part-III was elected president of the College unit. While speaking at the meeting Sajid Malik stressed upon the students to be united under the banner of NSUI and work for the welfare of student community and strengthen national integration. Several students also spoke on the occasion and highlighted various problems of the College which included lack of infrastructure, non availability of hostel, play ground and also demanded opening of a B.Ed college at Bhaderwah . Newly elected president Saima Malik assured NSUI president that she will leave work for the betterment of the student community and help strengthen NSUI.
