10/4/2006 9:36:49 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORTER
POONCH | OCT 4
A deputation of unemployed Agriculture Technocrats called on the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad during his visit to the border district today and presented a memorandum to him demanding their absorption under Rehber-e-Zirat scheme.
The deputation drew the attention of the Chief Minister towards the hardships facing the unemployed technocrats as also the current agitation launched in Jammu in support of its demand.
The agitating technocrats, it may be recalled, are demanding filling up of all vacant posts in the Agriculture Department for absorption of all agriculture technocrats under Rehber-e-Zirat schemes on the pattern of Rehber-e-Taleem launched in the State a couple of years back.
Ramnik Singh Raja, Sukhvir Singh Nittu, Dharminder Singh, Sartaj Singh, Jasdev Singh, Rashu, Asif, Anshu and Sanjay were among the deputation.
